Join Hackney Herbal for an open afternoon at their garden in Hackney Wick in celebration of the equinox. They will be celebrating the transition from summer to autumn with nature-based craft activities for all ages using a mix of locally-grown and foraged plants. They will have a range of herbal drinks and teas made from our Hackney-grown herbs. The event is free to attend. They will be selling herbal tea/drinks, cake and some plants.

They are tying to minimise the use of disposable cups so please bring your own mug for drinks.

The event will take place outdoors at Trowbridge Gardens - in both the Herb Garden (entrance on Trowbridge Road) and the Big Garden (entrance on Chapman Street).

3.00pm - 4.45pm Crafting Workshop in the Big Garden

5.15pm - 6.00pm Making the fire and gathering in the Big Garden to welcome in the Autumn Equinox
