As part of this summer’s WORK/Series season of workshops and exhibitions, RENEWAL is an exhibition resulting from an Open Call to all members of the Arbeit studio community under the theme of renewal. After months of restrictions on life and work, it is an opportunity to come together at Trowbridge Gardens gallery to see work that reflects on small and big changes experienced over the last 15 months. In particular, any sense or urge for renewal.
The exhibition includes work designers and artists including Alice Acreman, Dave Addison, Minerva Amiss, Bad Habits, Nicholas Biela, Katalin Borbely, Christina Eberhart, Suzie Edwards, Nicole Eymard, Hackney Herbal, Carrie Maxwell, Sarah Regensburger, Martin Robinson, Alina Valceanu and James Wilson.

Work Series
WORK/Series is a summer season of exhibitions, workshops and events. Covering a wide range of sectors, the series provides skills and knowledge for businesses, artists and local communities.
Hosted online and between our sites at Leyton Green (E10) and Trowbridge Gardens (E9), Arbeit is bringing together its members, local artists and business consultants from across sectors. The series has been made possible thanks to the Culture Recovery Fund from Arts Council England.
More info on other events and exhibitions in the series can be found here.
‘Arbeit’ means work in German, and this is what we do. We Make Space Work.
Arbeit Studios is a mix-use creative workspace provider, creating spaces for artists, designers, small businesses and start-ups, alongside business support, event/gallery space and a shared environment for innovative collaboration and community involvement.
